Purpose: to check the minimum side contacts resiliency of E27 lampholder.
Testing: the side contact(s) of lampholder shall be electrically connected with the gauge as shown in the circuit.
with the central rod in the upper position, the gauge is screwed in the lampholder without using undue force.
the gauge is fixed by screwing down the nut until the play between holder an gauge has been removed.
the central rod then is screwed down with a torque of 0.4Nm.
under these conditions the indicator lamp shall light.
the central rod shall then be screwed back until its mark has passed 10 scale parts (=0.2mm).
in this positio the indicator lamp shall still light.
* in case of doubt a torque of 0.4Nm shall be applied.
