Description:

The tester is used for winding cable in low temperature and check whether the surface cracks or cracking degree.

The test is applied to check cable winding durability and flexibility in low temperature.

Test method:

The cable of sectional area less than 100mm2 is cooled for 1h in the test chamber, then rolled on a specific round rod in the fixed average speed;

The cable of sectional area more than 100m2 is winded at first, then cooled in the test chamber for 1 hour, in the last winded on rod in reverse direction.

Take out the specimen cable and check whether the surface cracks.
