1.Force bearing and transmission: The piston is the main component that bears the gas pressure in the cylinder. When the fuel in the cylinder burns, it generates high - pressure gas, and the piston bears this pressure and transmits the force to the crankshaft through the piston pin and connecting rod, converting the linear motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft, thus providing power for the excavator.
2.Combustion chamber formation: The top of the piston, together with the cylinder head and cylinder wall, forms the combustion chamber. The shape of the piston top affects the combustion efficiency and power output of the engine. A reasonable combustion chamber shape can make the fuel burn more fully and improve the performance of the excavator.
