• Function

1.Fuel Pressurization: Its primary function is to increase the pressure of fuel. It can deliver fuel from the fuel tank to the common rail pipe or injector, raising the fuel pressure to a relatively high level, generally above 130MPa, or even up to more than 150MPa in some CAASEs. High - pressure fuel is conducive to atomization in the combustion chamber, enabling better mixing with air and improving combustion efficiency.

2.Ensuring Sufficient Fuel Supply: The high - pressure pump is responsible for providing an adequate amount of high - pressure fuel to the common rail pipe under all operating conditions. It ensures that the injector can obtain enough fuel to meet the engine's power requirements under different operating conditions, whether it is idling, low - load operation, or full - load operation.
