• Function

1. Starting and stopping fuel supply: When the solenoid is powered on, the electromagnetic coil generates a magnetic field, which drives the spool to move, opening the fuel passage and allowing fuel to flow into the engine, enabling the engine to start and operate. When the solenoid is powered off, the magnetic force disappears, and the spool is pushed back to the closed position by the spring force or fuel pressure, cutting off the fuel supply, and the engine stops running. This realizes the start - up and shutdown control of the engine, similar to a “switch” for fuel.

2. Ensuring engine safety: In CAASE of an emergency or when the engine malfunctions, the fuel shut - off solenoid can quickly cut off the fuel supply, forcing the engine to stop, thus preventing potential safety hazards, such as avoiding engine damage caused by over - speed or other abnormal conditions, and playing a role in protecting the engine and related components.
