Function
1.Power Input and Transmission: The sun gear is loed at the center of the planetary gear system. It is the main component for power input. The power from the engine or other power sources is first transmitted to the sun gear. Then, through the meshing with the planetary gears, the power is transmitted to other components of the planetary gear system, such as the planetary carrier and the ring gear, so as to realize the power transmission in the whole drive system.
2.Changing Transmission Ratio: In the planetary gear system, by restricting the movement of different components, different transmission ratios can be obtained. When the sun gear is used as the power input end, and the ring gear or the planetary carrier is fixed or has a certain - speed rotation, according to the number of teeth of each component, the rotation speed and torque of the output end (planetary carrier or ring gear) will change.
