- Function
1.Motion transmission: It is loed between the camshaft and the rocker arm. When the camshaft rotates, it pushes the push rod through the tappet. The push rod then transmits this thrust to the rocker arm, converting the rotational motion of the camshaft into the up - and - down motion of the rocker arm, so as to drive the valve to move.
2.Valve control: By accurately transmitting motion, the push rod enables the valve to open and close according to the specified timing and stroke. This is crucial for the engine to inhale a sufficient amount of air - fuel mixture and discharge exhaust gas in time, ensuring the normal operation of the engine combustion process and improving engine efficiency and power performance.
