• Function

1.Power input and transmission: The sun gear is loed in the center of the planetary gear mechanism. It is the starting point of the entire power transmission. It receives the power from the power source, such as the engine through the transmission system, and then transmits the power to the planetary gears meshed with it. The rotation of the sun gear drives the planetary gears to rotate, starting the power - transmission process of the entire planetary gear mechanism.

2.Realizing different transmission ratios: By controlling the motion states of the sun gear, planetary gears, and ring gear, different transmission ratios can be achieved. When the sun gear is the driving part, and the ring gear or the planet carrier is the driven part, different speed and torque output can be obtained according to different meshing relationships and motion modes, so as to meet the power requirements of the excavator under various working conditions, such as walking, digging, and lifting.
