• Function

3.Controlling the cooling system: Data from the sensor is utilized to regulate the cooling system. When coolant temperature is overly high or the level is too low, it transmits signals to the vehicle's control module, which might turn on an electric fan, activate an alarm, or even shut down the engine to avoid impairment.

4.Aiding in fault diagnosis: The sensor signal can be applied to diagnose cooling system faults. If there's an anomaly with the sensor itself or the monitored parameters, the fault diagnosis system records an error code for maintenance reference.
