• Function and Appliion

1.Fuel supply: It sucks fuel from the fuel tank and delivers it to the high - pressure fuel injection pump through pipelines. This ensures a continuous and stable fuel supply for the engine, meeting the fuel demand during engine operation. Since the fuel tank is usually loed below the engine, the fuel transfer pump plays a role in "lifting" the fuel, overcoming the height difference and pipeline resistance to transport the fuel to the engine's fuel injection system.

2.Pressure building: The fuel transfer pump creates a certain fuel pressure in the low - pressure fuel circuit. In Komatsu engines, the electric fuel transfer pump can generate a fuel pressure within the range of 0.3 - 0.4 MPa (up to 0.7 MPa in direct - injection engines). This pressure is necessary for the normal operation of the high - pressure fuel injection pump, enabling it to accurately inject fuel into the combustion chamber at the appropriate time and pressure.
