• Function

1.Starting the Engine: The most fundamental function of the start switch is to initiate the starting process of the excavator's engine. When the key is inserted into the start switch and turned to the "start" position, the switch closes the relevant circuit, allowing the battery to supply power to the starter motor. This enables the starter motor to drive the engine's crankshaft to rotate, thereby starting the engine.

2.Power Supply Control: Besides starting the engine, the start switch also controls the power supply to various electrical systems and components of the excavator. When the switch is in the "on" position, it supplies power to systems such as the instrument panel, lights, and control circuits, enabling them to operate normally. When the engine is not in use, turning the switch to the "off" position cuts off the power supply to these systems, preventing unnecessary power consumption and ensuring the safety of the electrical system.
