• Function

1.Compressing Intake Air: The turbocharger utilizes the kinetic energy of the engine's exhaust gases. The exhaust gases flow through the turbine, causing the turbine to rotate at high speed. The turbine and the compressor are mounted on the same shaft, so when the turbine rotates, it drives the compressor to rotate as well. The compressor sucks in air from the air filter and compresses it, increasing the air pressure and density.

2.Allowing More Fuel Combustion: The compressed air is delivered to the engine cylinders. With more air available in each combustion cycle, more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing the engine's power output. For example, in a diesel engine, the increased air - fuel ratio enables more complete combustion of diesel fuel, releasing more energy and generating greater power.
