• Function

1.Converting mechanical energy into hydraulic energy: The gear pump is typically driven by the engine of construction equipment. It consists of precision gears within a housing. As the gears rotate, they create a vacuum on one side of the pump, drawing hydraulic fluid from the reservoir into the pump's inlet. The fluid is then trapped between the gear teeth and carried around the outside of the gears to the outlet, where it is forced out under pressure into the hydraulic system, thus converting the mechanical energy of the engine into hydraulic energy.

2.Providing hydraulic pressure and flow: The 269-0004 gear pump is a 33.20 cc displacement gear pump that generates the hydraulic pressure and flow required for the normal operation of the hydraulic system.
