Triple insulated wire is a cable or wire that has three layers of insulation to provide additional protection and insulation.

Triple-insulated wire usually consists of the following three layers:

The main function of the external insulation layer is to provide mechanical protection and resistance to chemical corrosion, so that the wire can safely and reliably transmit current under various environmental conditions.
