This taped Litz wire is specifically designed for transformer windings, featuring exceptional high voltage withstand capability with a minimum dielectric strength of 6000V and an actual achievable range of 13,400V to 13,700V. Constructed with 0.1mm (39AWG) polyurethane enameled copper wire strands available in 155°C and 180°C temperature ratings, this wire is twisted from 3,000 strands with a finished outer diameter ranging from 7.38mm to 7.92mm.
The outer layer is wrapped with polyester-imide tape, providing superior stability for the internal stranded construction. For 3,000-strand configurations, tape wrapping is preferred over film for enhanced structural integrity.
