Triple Insulated Wires have a prominent feature: no need of interlayer insulation tape or barrier tape between the primary and secondary coils of a transformer. This positive feature of TIW to downsize switching transformers, and promises high production efficiency and cost reduction. TIW paves the way to the design of the most modern switching transformers.
