Litz wire may wraped with outside insulationg material, so as to dacron fiber, nylon, silk, or other fiber. These insulation may offer very special propties, it may improve electrical, thermo, chemical, mechanical properties, self-bonding function. It also can be serve as spacer, and increase the Q value of the wire.
