We can design the different grooving types- LBS parallel grooving and helical grooving.
The LBS grooved reel is processing into two parallel groove and section and two groove section, which could make sure the rope arranged tidily on each other. Also it can prevent cross&mess in rope spooling working happening. And then, it will lower the rope damage,extend the rope life.
Product Structure:
- Integral rope groove drum: rope drums with grooves cut directly into them (with or without bolted or welded flanges, as required).Winch drum with flange, the LBS groove is cut directly into the body of the drum, according to customers’ requirements, the flanges are either welded or screw-bolted. groove geometry is determined by rope construction, diameter and length, and by application. the drum has the required mounting dimensions for the actual operating conditions.

- The LBS split-sleeve system consists of a pair of outer shells that are bolted or welded onto a smmoth drum to provide a grooving pattern.Either helical or LBS parallel grooves can be carved into the sleeves. As with all LBS drums,the grooving in split sleeves is engineered to match the specific rope construction,diameter and length, and to suit the application.
