SANWNOOD produce and supply rain spray test chambers of SM-IPX34 series according to the IPX3, IPX4 tests per IEC60529-2013 14.2.3 & 14.2.4.
IPX34 rain test chamber is suitable for the adaptability and reliability test of electrical and electronic products, materials, parts and components under rain and temperature conditions, and can also be used for external lighting and signal device and automobile lamp shell protection.
Depend on the specimen size, the oscilating pipe radius can be produced at: 200mm/400mm/600mm/800mm/1000mm/1200mm/1400mm/1600mm. Below the talbe shows the number of open holes and total water flow at different tube radius.
To run the IPX3, IPX4 rain spray tests, there are strictly requirement to the flow rate, the angle of water spray, test time and the distance from the sample to the spray nozzle per EN60529 or IEC60529 standards. Sanwood R&D will provide you professional test solution per specific.

IPX3/4 Rain spray test chamber features
1. Meet the requirement of IEC / EN60529 standards IPX3 water spray test and IPX4 water splash test.
2. The test sample will be put or installed on the center of the half-round sinuous pipe and make the bottom of the test samples and the oscillating axis in a horizontal position. During test, the sample would spin around the center line.
3. Pendulum pipe standard configuration: R400mm and R600mm or other else. Swing pipe inner diameter: Φ15mm. DillΦ0.4 holes and make the water spray to the center. The water pressure of the device entrance is equal to 10m water level, spraying water pressure is 80-100kpa.
4. Water spraying pipe swing angle: 120º,180º,360º, Vertical sides: 60º,90º,175º.
Complete a swing(2*120º) time is 4S.
Complete a swing(2*360º) time is 12S.
5. Can manual default the test parameters, complete testing automatically shut off the water supply and
pendulum pipe Angle automatic zeroing and automatic eliminate seeper, avoid scale blockage needle tip.
6. Use Mitsubishi PLC, LCD panel test procedure control box, stainless steel curved pipe, alloy aluminum frame, stainless steel shell.
