Product description
Novolak resins 2181 are produced by reacting formaldehyde with phenol under acidic conditions and modified
with CNSL which is C15 alkyl phenol from natural cashew nutshell to improve the flexibility .
After cooled and solidified,it is milled to powder and mixed with around 10%of hexamethylenetetramine.
Novolak resins 2181 is recommended for the production of friction materials(disk pads,brake linings and
clutch facings)required reduced noise and judder,and improved impact strength
