The CNSL modified resin with increased flexibility and water repellencey will reudce the brake noise largely. The resin is novolac resins,which require a curing agent - often hexamethylenetetramine or hexa.So it is milled into powder and re-mixed with Hexa
Application
It is recommended for the production of friction materials(disk pads,brake linings and clutch facings) required improved stability at high temperature and low wear,reduced noise and judder.
