Product description
Bakelite Phenolic resins Powder are synthetic polymers formed as condensation products of phenols and aldehydes under acid conditions. It is novolac resin and milled into powder and re-mixed with Hexa. These resins require a curing agent - often hexamethylenetetramine or hexa.They are not heat-sensitive.
Application
it is recommended for the production of friction materials(disk pads,brake linings and clutch facings) required improved stability at high temperature and low wear,reduced noise and judder.Specially, it is suitable for clutch facings
