Bakelite Phenolic resins Powder are synthetic polymers formed as condensation products of phenols and aldehydes. This step-growth polymerization reaction can be either acid- or base-catalyzed. In acid, the reaction forms novolac resins. It is milled into powder and re-mixed with Hexa.
Application
Heavy-duty grinding wheels are used for cutting and grinding foundry iron in the steel industry. These grinding wheels do not need precision but need excellent heat resistance and high strength.
