Scope of Application
This tester is suitable for conveyor belts and steel cord conveyor belts with textile bodies, designed to evaluate flammability and flame propagation characteristics of horizontally oriented conveyor belt samples.
Testing Principle
The ends of horizontally oriented conveyor belt specimens are exposed to flames for a specified duration. The response to ignition sources is evaluated by measuring flame duration after burner removal and afterglow duration when air passes through the sample.
Standards Compliance
Manufactured according to AS 1334.10 1994 and ISO 340-2022 standards for conveyor belt flammability testing requirements and methods.
