Application
The Vertical Combustion Tester measures flame retardant properties of various textiles including woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated products, and laminated products. It determines the tendency of textiles to burn, smolder, and char.

Compliant with 16CFR 1615 (Size 0-6) and 16CFR1616 (Size 7-14) STANDARD FOR THE FLAMMABILITY OF CHILDREN'S SLEEPWEAR.
Principle
The sample is installed in the holder and hung vertically in the test instrument. After burning with a flame of specified height for a set duration, the instrument records afterburning, smoldering time, and damage length to evaluate combustion performance.
