UL910 NFPA262 Steiner Tunnel Flame Test Furnace for Cable Flame Spread Smoke Density SL-910
The SL-910 Steiner horizontal tunnel furnace is a dedicated combustion test system for evaluating the flame spread and smoke density of electrical and optical-fiber cables in accordance with UL 910 / NFPA 262 standards.
This integrated system combines ignition sequencing, combustion safety, electrical interlocking, automatic temperature control, manual adjustment, monitoring & alarm functions, and data acquisition into one comprehensive unit. The system is controlled by an OMRON PLC together with Advantech hardware and Visual Basic software.

Installation Requirements
- The fire test room must allow free air flow and maintain a controlled positive pressure of 0-12 Pa (0-0.05 inch water column) above ambient pressure throughout each test
- Ambient temperature 18.3-26.7°C and relative humidity 45-60%; air conditioning and humidification/dehumidification equipment required
- Site dimensions: length not less than 12 m, width not less than 8 m, height not less than 4 m
- Cooling water: tap water, 0.07 MPa pressure
