Applications
De Mattia Flexing Tester is used for the assessment of the resistance of coated fabrics to damage by repeated flexing under De Mattia method.
The tester is suitable for coated fabric against repeated flexing damage performance, to provide a reference for improving the fabric.

Principle
Fold a strip of coated fabric two times with their long edges stacked to form a 125 mm × 12.5 mm strip. Install the folded strip between a pair of flat clamps, one of the clamps can be reciprocated, causing the folded specimen to bend outward five times per second. This high-speed folding of the sample continues until the predetermined number of cycles or sample is significantly damaged.
