Lithium battery-specific fire extinguishing agent is a chemical substance specially designed to extinguish lithium battery fires. Due to the characteristics of lithium battery fires—such as high temperature, easy re-ignition, and potential release of toxic gases—traditional fire extinguishing agents (e.g., water, foam, dry powder) have limited effectiveness. Therefore, specialized extinguishing agents tailored to the properties of lithium batteries have been developed.
The S-100-LB Lithium Battery-Specific Fire Extinguishing Agent is the result of extensive comparative tests on fire-fighting performance conducted by the company's R&D department. By adding food additives, flame retardants, and other substances to water, it modifies water's chemical properties, latent heat of vaporization, viscosity, wettability, and adhesion, thereby enhancing water's fire-extinguishing efficiency.
This extinguishing agent outperforms others in cooling and flame-retardant performance: the agent film adhering to the surface can withstand temperatures exceeding 500°C, blocking oxygen supply. While cooling and suppressing the battery fire, it prevents other flammable materials in the vicinity from igniting, achieving the goal of fire control.
Through the combination of three fire-extinguishing mechanisms—physical heat absorption and cooling, oxygen inhibition, and chemical penetration and flame retardancy—the agent features fast cooling speed, high flame-retardant efficiency, and strong anti-re-ignition capability.
