The JJB30 mine-used laser methane remote measuring instrument leverages advanced optoelectronic technology to detect methane concentrations from a distance. Utilizing the principle that methane gas absorbs specific laser wavelengths (following Lambert-Beer law), this handheld device provides accurate remote measurement of methane and methane-containing gases including natural gas.
Measurement Technology
This instrument directs a laser beam toward detection points such as coal mine corners, gas pipelines, ceilings, walls, and floors. By analyzing the reflected laser signal from the target, it measures methane gas concentration distributed along the laser path between the device and target point, covering distances up to 30 meters.
