PCR is the most commonly used method in gene diagnosis. PCR, short for polymerase chain reaction, is an enzymatic chemical reaction that can amplify the target gene to be tested by 500,000 times or even 1 million times in a very short time in a test tube, which greatly improves the sensitivity of gene diagnosis and reduces the difficulty of analysis.
