Carbonless Base Paper Features:
- No Carbon Interleaving: Unlike traditional carbon paper that requires a carbon interleaf, carbonless paper achieves copying through its own chemical coatings, making it much more convenient and cleaner to use.
- Chemical Imaging Principle: The CB side (back) is coated with microcapsules containing a colorless dye. The CF side (front) is coated with a color developer. Pressure from writing or printing ruptures the microcapsules, releasing the colorless dye, which then reacts with the color developer to produce a color (typically blue or black).
