PE coated paper is a composite material that coats plastic particles on a paper surface by a casting machine.
The main feature is that the composite material can be oil-proof, waterproof (relative), and heat-sealable.
This base papers are normal ivory paper,offset paper,kraft paper etc, then put PE on these papers which will make PE paper surface more glossy and smooth.
PE coated paper have powerful waterproof & greaseproof function, they are popular in the food packages industry.
