Manufacturing Process
Our hot dip galvanized machine press welded steel gratings are manufactured through a rigorous production process:
- Step 1: Materials Preparation - Bearing bars and cross bars are prepared for welding.
- Step 2: Bearing Bars Placement - Bearing bars are placed into a specialized work-holding device.
- Step 3: Pressure Welding - Cross bars are cold pressed into bearing bars at high pressure and resistance welded under high temperature.
- Step 4: Flush Trimming for Edges - Excess cross bar material is removed from grating panel edges.
- Step 5: Cutting to Size and Shape - Panels are cut according to buyer specifications.
- Step 6: Banding for Open Ends - Open ends are welded closed using banding bars matching bearing bar specifications.
- Step 7: Hot Dip Galvanizing - Final panels receive a zinc coating (minimum 65μm) for corrosion resistance lasting 15-30 years in harsh conditions.
