Surface Process of Grating
Hot Galvanizing
Normally, hot galvanizing is carried out after the end welding process. For bearing bars with thickness not less than 5mm, the average zinc layer weight will not be less than 610g/m². For thickness less than 5mm, the average zinc layer weight will not be less than 460g/m². Quality and requirements after hot galvanizing comply with GB/T 13912 standards.
Lacquering
Additional protection layer applied through spraying, brushing, or soaking methods.
Service Life of Hot Galvanizing
With a zinc coating thickness of 100μm, this shows the anticipated product life in various circumstances.
Anti-Acid and Alkali Corrosion Capacity
Effective in pH range of 6 to 12.5, forming a stable protective film on the zinc surface with excellent anti-corrosive properties.
Calculation of Weight and Area
- Weight increases after welding and galvanizing: 12% for 30mm pitch, 14% for 40mm pitch, and 16% for 60mm pitch bearing bars
- Custom-sized gratings calculated based on actual area (including cutouts and taps)
- Gratings made to customer drawings calculated by total outside dimensions
- Unusual size cutouts not deducted from length/width measurements
