Expanded Metal Types
- Raised Expanded Metal Mesh: Features diamond openings with slightly raised surface, also known as standard or regular expanded metal
- Flat Expanded Metal Mesh: Manufactured by passing standard expanded sheet through a cold roll reducing mill, forming diamond openings with flat surface
Mesh Shapes & Applications
Standard mesh form is rhombic (diamond-shaped), with additional shapes available including hexagonal, oblong, and rounded configurations. Mesh sizes range from very small 6 x 3 mm for filtration applications to large 200 x 75 mm for architectural and industrial uses.
