| Application | It has good weldability and can be welded by several methods. The steel is widely used e.g. for propeller shafts, pump parts and piston rods. | |||||||||

You shall use ISO 25 9 4 NL or something similar as filler metal when you weld. The steel can be both cold and hot formed. It is more difficult to machine than common austenitic steel.
