Stainless Steel Bar Stock Character

1. According to the preparation process can be divided into deformation superalloys,
casting superalloys and powder metallurgy superalloys.
2. According to the strengthening mode, there are solid solution strengthening type, precipitation
strengthening type, oxide dispersion strengthening type and fiber strengthening type, etc..

Properties and Application: High hardness in quenched condition and good corrosion resistance. Used as a steam turbine blade. 2Cr13 density of 7.75g/cm3 2Cr13 quenching hardness: general 2Cr13 quenching temperature at 980 ~ 1050 °C, take 980 °C heating oil quenching when the hardness is significantly lower than the 1050 °C heating oil quenching, 980 °C oil quenched after the hardness of 45 ~ 50HRC , 1050 °C oil hardness after quenching 2HRC higher. However, the crystal grains obtained after quenching at 1050°C are coarse and brittle. It is recommended to use 1000 °C heat quenching to get better texture and hardness.

2Cr13 martensitic stainless steel, welding to preheat. Austenitic stainless steel welding rods for Q235 welding do not require preheating, such as A302.A307. The weld dilution rate is controlled during welding, and the welding current is not swung and the current is smaller.
2Cr13 welding consumables can be selected:

1. Anti-atmosphere corrosion selection G202, G207, need to preheat 150-300 degrees, after welding 700-730 degrees tempering;
2. Resistant to organic acids and heat-resistant selection: G211, need to preheat 150-300 degrees;
3. Good plasticity: A102, A107, A202, A207, A302, A307, welding preheating, large pieces of preheating.
