Cold Rolled 304 Stainless Steel Sheet:
Produced by passing the sheet through rollers at room temperature to reduce thickness
This cold working process increases the sheet's strength, hardness, and surface finish
Typical thickness range is 0.3 mm to 3 mm
Has higher tensile strength and yield strength compared to hot rolled
Surface has a smoother, more uniform appearance
Better dimensional accuracy and tighter tolerances
Increased formability and weldability in some cases
Hot Rolled 304 Stainless Steel Sheet:
Produced by passing the sheet through rollers at elevated temperatures (often over 1000°C)
The hot rolling process is faster and less expensive than cold rolling
Typical thickness range is 1 mm to 6 mm
Has lower tensile and yield strength compared to cold rolled
Surface has a more uneven, mill-scale appearance
Looser dimensional tolerances and surface imperfections
Generally less formable than cold rolled sheets
304 304l Stainless steel maintenance:
Regular cleaning and maintenance
Pay attention to prevent the occurrence of the phenomenon of surface scratches
Use soap, weak detergent or warm water to remove surface dust, dirt
In addition to the surface of the binder with alcohol or an organic solvent
Use neutral detergent or ammonia solution in addition to surface oil
With 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent in addition to the surface of the embroider caused by the dirt.
