The carbon content in SS 304L Tubes is held to 0.08 percent maximum, while the nickel content is increased slightly. Due to its non-reactive qualities,is also used in the manufacture of medical surgical instruments. These items have chemical and mechanical properties complying with Grade 304L Tubes specifications. Heavy welded sections in Grade 304L Tubes require post-weld annealing for maximum corrosion resistance.

Appearance requirements:
The inner and outer surface of the steel pipe shall be free from visible cracks, scabs and deformation caused by bumping bow,
and the surface roughness Ra<32um.
The outer end shall be free from deformation, elliptical notch and other defects, and the pipe body shall be free from pits
(pits deeper than 0.1mm are not allowed on the inner wall of the steel pipe),inclusions and other defects. There shall be no scratch (0.1mm).
Dirt on the inner hole: there shall be no oil pollution inside and outside the steel pipe or dirt and rust that can not be removed by fine sandpaper
