Product Overview
A hydraulic tester is used to perform leaking and hydraulic pressure test on ERW or spiral welded pipes. The test involves sealing the two ends of the pipe, filling the pipe with a liquid (usually water, which may be dyed to aid in visual leak detection), and pressurizing the vessel to the specified test pressure. Pressure tightness can be tested by shutting off the supply valve and observing whether there is a pressure loss. Our hydraulic tester meets API standards.
Key Differences Between ERW and Spiral Welded Pipe Testers
Longitudinal weld pipe hydraulic tester employs outside diameter sealing or sealing for big gaps. Hydraulic tester for spiral welding pipes uses polyurethane to seal the pipe end faces and has a system to maintain balance of oil and water.
