Product Overview
A hydraulic tester is used to perform leaking and hydraulic pressure tests on ERW or spiral welded pipes. The test involves sealing the two ends of the pipe, filling it with liquid (typically water, sometimes dyed for visual leak detection), and pressurizing to the specified test pressure. Pressure tightness is verified by monitoring for pressure loss after closing the supply valve. Our hydraulic tester meets API standards.
Key Differences Between ERW and Spiral Welded Pipe Testers
Longitudinal weld pipe hydraulic testers use outside diameter sealing or sealing for large gaps. Spiral welding pipe hydraulic testers utilize polyurethane to seal pipe end faces and include a system to maintain oil and water balance.
