The HG273 mill is designed for manufacturing round pipes of Φ114mm-Φ273mm with thickness of 4.0mm-10mm from cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil strip. The process involves forming unclosed tubular blanks, subsequent welding into tubes, edge heating via solid state high-frequency welder, longitudinal seam welding in rolls of tube welding machine, cooling, sizing/shaping, and on-stream cutting of endless tube into measured lengths.

- Frame vertical degree: ≤0.05mm
- Each frame parallel degree: ≤0.1mm
- Steel pipe diameter and roundness error: ≤0.08mm
