Formwork tie rod performs as the key important member in tie rod system, holding formwork panels. Usually used together with wing nut, waler plate, water stop, etc. Also it is enbeded in concrete used as lost part.
Generally speaking, tie rod system is used to connect and anchor formworks in construction.
3 diameters of tie rod available: Ø15.0mm, Ø20.0mm, Ø26.5mm.
Extensive accessories of wing nuts, hexagonal nuts, water stops, etc.
The cold rolled tie rod material is weldable and bendable, shearing loads and bending stress are possible. Because of these mentioned reasons, cold rolled tie rod is used preferred in prefab elements and formwork.
