Cast Iron Water Barrier to Prevent Water Seeping Alongside the Thread Bar
Water barriers are used in water retaining structures. Casted into the concrete wall between two separate tie bars. After pouring, tie rods are removed, the water barrier remains in concrete. Allows two reducers per water barrier.
This type of water barrier is made from cast iron as one unit, which is the most cost-effective solution. To prevent the entering of concrete grout, a reducing sleeve will be installed at the transition from the water barrier nut to the plastic tube.
