Description:
The impellers of SV(R) series are open design, and this is the biggest difference from the SH series horizontal slurry pumps.
Impellers – Unique double suction impellers; fluid flow enters the top as well as the bottom. This design eliminates shaft seals and reduces thrust load on the bearings.
Large Particle – Large particle impellers are also available and enable passing unusually large solids.
Impellers for vertical slurry pumps are open type, 5-vane design, which makes it easier for big particles to pass.
Rubber impellers are installed in rubber lined vertical slurry pumps, and as an option, we can also install metal impellers in rubber lined vertical slurry pumps.
