Introduction
- The melting point of magnesium alloy sheet is lower than that of aluminum alloy. The tensile strength of magnesium alloy castings is similar to that of aluminum alloy castings, generally up to 250Mpa and up to 600mpa. The yield strength and elongation of aluminum alloys are similar.
- Magnesium alloy also has good corrosion resistance, electromagnetic shielding performance, radiation resistance performance, and can be 100% recycling.
- The stability of magnesium alloy casting is higher than that of high pressure casting.
- Magnesium alloys with good machining performance have less cutting resistance than other metals, and can be machined at a faster speed
- High absorption of vibration and impact due to the magnesium alloy's good absorption of vibration energy, it can be used in driving and transmission parts to reduce vibration.
Function
- In the elastic range, the energy absorbed by the magnesium alloy is half that of the aluminum alloys
- good corrosion resistance
- electromagnetic shielding performance
- radiation resistance performance
- 100% recycling
- seismic noise reduction
- stability of magnesium alloy casting

Application
1. Magnesium alloy with good impact energy absorption performance and better elongation than aluminum alloy can absorb impact energy without fracture.
Application: magnesium alloy is used in steering wheel and seat to improve the absorption of impact force and lightweight after a car is hit.
2. Heat transfer: although the heat transfer coefficient of magnesium alloy is less than that of aluminum alloy, it is dozens of times higher than that of plastic. Therefore, magnesium alloy can be used in electrical products to effectively distribute heat from inside to outside.
Application: magnesium alloy is used in the housing and cooling parts of computers and projectors that generate high temperature inside. Magnesium alloy can be used on the housing of the TV set without heat dissipation hole.
