drive pump group and diesel engine drive pump group are the main pumps of fire pump system, supply water for fire pipe

network system

In the event of a fire, it is often accompanied by a power outage. At this point the electric motor can not start, and the use of

diesel fuel as a fire fighting diesel engine can work properly at this time to ensure the normal supply of water.

Selection of fire fighting diesel engine

Engine power rated at SAE Conditions 25℃ (77°F ) and 91 m (300 ft ) above sea level

Engines power must be derated for Altitude and Temperature

3% Derate for every 300 m (1000 ft ) above 91 m (300 ft ).

1% Derate for every 5.6 ℃(10°F ) above 25 ℃ (77°F)

Formula: (CA + CT – 1) x hp = derated hp
