Customize Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Kiln Stilts High Temperature Resistance
Customize Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Kiln Stilts High Temperature Resistance
1. Description
Aluminum oxide (Al2O3), commonly known as alumina, is extensively used as an engineering ceramic due to its high performance at a cost-effective price. Typically, alumina is available in grades from 88% to 99.99% purity with properties varying accordingly. Zirconia-toughened alumina is a modified, stronger grade of alumina.
We carry a variety of size post & stilts. However there are so many size shelves that you need to email us to check on your size and availability. Posts are what you use to stack the shelves in a kiln. Tile racks in this section are only low fire, high fire shelves are not made. Stilts are what you use to place under a glazed item during firing so it will not bond to the kiln shelve.
We supply a range of ceramic kiln firing metal pinned stilts. Stilts are used to allow glazed ware to be protected all over, rather than dry footing items. Stilting ceramic pieces help keep moisture out of the ware and help against crazing. Ceramic stilts are also a good aid against protecting the kilns shelves from glaze. Please note, to help prolong the life of your kiln furniture/stilts it is advisable to apply some batt wash periodically.
We have 7 size , you can choose.
1. Low thermal expansion and low porosity.
3. Perfect toughness and optimized microstructure
4. Outstanding thermal shock resistance
5. Corrosion resistance: No acid alkali salt can corrode it.
6. Excellent high temperature performance
7. Good heat resistance performance
8. Both ends equipped with plastic enclosed ring, only oil won't leak, making the roller axle revolve under the situation of long-time totally enclosed.
9. Long service time: 2-3times longer than the steel roller and can reduce the wearing of belt.
11. Ceramic surface: Form an oxidized membrane, won't connect with and react with any materials. The trough roller can clean the belt.
