Operating Principle
The working principle of induction heating machines is rooted in the electromagnetic induction phenomenon. An
alternating current source provides current to the induction coil. As the current alternates, it creates a dynamic
magnetic field around the coil. When a metal object is placed in this magnetic field, the changing magnetic flux
through the object induces an electric current, known as an eddy current, within the metal. The resistance of the
metal to the flow of these eddy currents causes the conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting
in the heating of the metal workpiece.
