Used for testing dry and wet rubbing color fastness of cotton, chemical fiber and blended fabrics.

This instrument is of integral design, mainly composed of base, friction drive mechanism and counter, with the specimen clip the specimen and sandpaper fixed on one side of the base. The specimen and sandpaper are fixed in the side of the base by the specimen clamp, and the friction head equipped with white cotton cloth is made to make the reciprocating movement on the specimen with the prescribed stroke by shaking the handle, so that the white cotton cloth and the specimen rub against each other.

After ten times of rubbing, observe and evaluate the degree of color sticking on the white cotton cloth by comparing with gray card, so as to judge the stability of dyeing or surface coating of the fabric specimen, and provide reference data for the evaluation and selection of materials. This instrument is suitable for all fabrics on or inside yarn, color woven, printed and dyed textiles and toy products.

The sample with a piece of dry friction cloth and wet friction cloth respectively for friction, with gray sample card to evaluate the change of the sample Color and the dyeing condition of the friction cotton cloth.
